KitchenAid Garbage Disposal Reviews
Here is my brief on the most popular KitchenAid garbage disposals.
1. KitchenAid KCDB250G Review
Powered by a 1/2 HP motor capable of running at 1725 RPM this garbage disposal has enough power to pulverize most household kitchen wastes. This is continuous feed-type garbage disposal so you can process all the food wastes in one go.
When compares with certain other popular KitchenAid models this one is smaller in size measuring 11 3/8 inches in height and 6 5/8 inches in width. Its grinding components are made of galvanized steel which is less durable than stainless steel. It doesn’t have any noise insulation as well. The warranty period is 1 year.
Though lacking some features this disposer is not the cheapest but it is more reliable than many. That’s why it found its place in my list of the best garbage disposals.
2. KitchenAid KCDI075B Review
KitchenAid KCDI075B is powered by a 3/4 HP, 1725 RPM motor. It is bigger than the previous model, with dimensions of 12 5/8 x 7 1/4 inches.
Its grinding components like the grinding wheel and shredder ring are made of stainless steel which prevents it from corroding over long-term use. Its grinding chamber is made of high-quality corrosion-resistant material. This disposal is covered under a limited warranty of 5 years.
3. KitchenAid Superba Garbage Disposal
This KitchenAid disposer uses the same electric motor as that in the previous model I reviewed. While power and performance are the same this disposal comes with certain additional featured. Noise insulation is one of them; using Sound Seal technology this disposer operates 40% quieter than a normal one. It also has a two-stage grinding to make sure that even the hardest food items get ground.
This one is a little bigger in size 12 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches but is compact enough to fit under most sinks. It looks better and has good build quality and comes with a 5-year warranty.
Though a little costlier I would blindly choose this over KCDI075B disposal.
